This month you have continued to grow and learn. Mommy and daddy are so proud of you!
You like to cruise around the house with your car walker and your motorcycle/tricycle. We now have to move things to keep you from pushing buttons (especially on the stereo).
You give “kissers” on command, big juicy wet ones right on the lips!
You understand the signs for milk, nurse, hungry, food, more, and finished.
The only sign you can do is milk, and you’ve done that for about 4 months now.
You still love bath time, and the water at the beach and pool.
You sleep like a champ, just not long enough. Mommy wants to reset your biological clock, because you’re stuck at 4am. I can go in and put you back to sleep, but you don’t sleep straight thru till 7am like I’d like you to.
This boy has got to be teething. He loves to chew on his finger. Just one…
Sweet little boy face! Thanks for the fireman shirt Aunt Lisa!!
Yes, a big boy car seat! He was too big for his old one and he met the requirements for this new one. He likes it a lot!
See? Such a happy boy!
When he sits in his seat and turns his head his hat goes all crooked, which is super cute!
Falls asleep in his seat, but he needs to hold on to something. Pretty sure he gets that from his daddy too.
Close up. Love that chubby little face when it scrunches up like that!
Awake and playing with is “iPod.” It is a Baby Einstein music toy with lights. He loves to push the button to turn the music on.
BEACH!! We did the beach a lot this summer. Especially with daddy!
Mommy thinks I’m adorable sitting in daddy’s beach chair.
Don’t you love the hat?! Daddy found it. I didn’t think he would keep it on since it doesn’t have a chin strap, but miraculously he has only pulled off a few times.
Trying to eat sea shells. See the sand all around his mouth? Too funny. At least he’s not eating straight sand like they all do at first. He grew out of that fast.
Crawling away. He is actually REALLY fast. It’s hilarious to see him when he starts crawling fast. He can really turn on the turbo power. He looks down at the ground like he’s amazed at his own speed.
This is probably my most favorite picture EVER (so far)! Can’t you just see the sheer joy on his face?! He loves to be with his dada.
You can’t really see, but there was a hole that I had him playing in. Good for a while to make sure he doesn’t crawl away with out me! hee hee
Still in the hole… Just playing with his toys.
Trying to poke the camera lense. He’s got sand all over his little face too. Looks like it could be freckles a little.
Yeah, I’m a big guy!
Just me and mama.
After his flu shot.
The wound.
While we were shopping for daddy’s birthday present we went into Potter Barn Kids and I saw this cute little chair. When I put him in it he just smiled up and me and I had to take a picture. He didn’t even try to wiggle his way out of that chair either!
Sound asleep.
Ok, funny story – at least an inside story. One day Dylan was playing with his dada in his room. Then he came crawling down the hall. I think I was cooking dinner. Anyway, I was talking to him and he came around the corner and he had these rings around his ankles! I about died laughing. I was pretty sure dad put them on there, but you never know with babies! So my friend was over and we were playing with his toys. He likes to crawl with two things (anything), one in either hand. So when he crawls with the rings he slides them on the ground instead of lifting them all the way up. I was showing my friend what his daddy had done to him a few days before with the rings on his ankles. Then he grabbed two other rings and took off. So I slipped the last one into the back of his pants so he had all 5 rings. Ok, so it’s not that funny, but that’s the whole story.
He likes to whistle sometimes. I’m not sure that he knows what he’s doing, but he does it frequently. He’ll suck air into his mouth to make a noise, then he blows it out and it makes a whistle noise. So cute
. Big boy with a ring in your pants.
Trying to get the rings off.
Trying to get the camera again. Maybe I take too many close ups…
I know this is blurry, but work with me. See how his face is all scrunched up? This is the funniest thing. He’ll scrunch up his face and blow air in and out of his nose. It’s hysterical! Especially when you do it to him and he does it back. Love it!
A little better shot.
Again, the squishy face.
Probably one of his favorite things to do since he started pulling himself up. He’ll crawl over to the swing. Pull himself up and start playing with the buttons. It plays fun music, classical music, and has earth noises (water, jungle, etc.). So he’ll stand there for a while and play with all the buttons and turn on the swing at different speeds too.
There he is in action. You can see all the buttons. That’s like heaven for a little guy that likes to get into everything!
“Driving” the car while we wait for daddy to come back from where ever he is.
My guys! Dylan is making a funny face and really doesn’t have a double chin that big!
One of the toys daddy bought to help me walk and play! I also have a car walking toy that I love, love, love to push around the house! We still have to push you on this if you want to ride it, but you’ve got the rocking motion down.
