15 Months old already?

Well, my baby is 15 months at the end of this week, on the 27th. It is so cliché, but so true that they grow up way too fast! When I look back at pictures of him when he was just born, a few weeks, a month etc. I think, “Look how tiny he was.” I loved having him so tiny and depending on my for everything. It made me feel so important to him. But even though he is much bigger now and can do things himself he still needs and loves me. I can’t imagine being without him. Ben and I were just talking about how we waited so long to have him, yet we feel like he’s been with us forever. He just fits right into our lives and our hearts seamlessly. He is amazing and wonderful and we love him so so much!

Well, at 15 months he can do quite a bit. I will try to make a comprehensive list. (* =newer )

Skills:

Gives lots of kisses – even to Elmo in his books!, blows kisses now, walking, dancing  (not just bouncing anymore, he started going in circles and also kind of marching = hilarious), clapping, can take something to the garbage when asked to, EATING, sleeping, babbles and is really trying to say something, knows his hair, ears, mouth, tongue, teeth, nose, tummy, eyes, chin, feet, toes, fingers… loves to read books, stacks his stacking toys, plays basketball and baseball with his respective toys – but sometimes he likes to put the football in the hoop too (cutest ever to watch him walk over the basketball hoop and reach high to put the ball in the hoop!), knows what we’re talking about a lot of the time – we can tell him things or ask him to do things and he knows what we mean…
