*Advice on what to bring to the hospital??? I need help! I'm starting to want to get a bag together just in case, but I have no idea what I will "really" need that no one will tell you. Please give me your suggestions!*

I finally broke down and bought a maternity dress. Yeah, I know, I only have 4-ish weeks left of "maternity." I'm just so sick of wearing the same thing to church every week. I only own 2 maternity pants(both are black for work), 9 maternity shirts (2 are black for work), 1 pair of maternity shorts, and now one maternity dress. I do own a belly band that I bought early on due to the tightness of my work pants. I rarely wear it now though. I still wear my normal jeans when I am not at work. I still wear my normal camisoles under shirts, which I will probably have to replace after the bump goes away. My sister taught me the rubber band trick which I imagine has made a huge difference for me. Thanks Stef! 1. You wrap a rubber band (I use a thick hair band because I think they are stronger and won't dry out when stretched) around the button of your pants. 2. You loop it through the button hole. 3. Wrap it around the button again. It acts as an "extender" for your pants. Be careful - sometimes it will pinch your skin if you are trying to extend too far. Yes, personal experience talking. :0} I am still using it on a few work pants, but don't have to yet with my pre-pregnancy jeans. I wonder if I'll have to replace those too...
I was hoping it would get a little cooler before I was done being pregnant. I have been so hot the whole time that I was dreaming about a sweater or something near the 6 month mark. At least the cooler weather would be nice. I don't know if I see that happening. It's still holding steady at 85-90-95 degrees. I got in my car one day last week and the temp said 96 degrees. It really didn't feel that hot and I haven't had to spend too much time outside. It is hard when you have to go in and out of the heat and ac a lot, but lucky for me I'm usually inside my store all day and only make the trek to and from the car twice (unless I go grocery shopping). Now walking the dogs is another story...
Sweaty has never been something you could have classified me as, but that is the one thing I have really noticed about this pregnancy is that not only am I always hot, but I am usually sweating. Not dripping sweat mind you. I haven't turned into a fountain, I'm just always glistening. ha ha
Well, I'm on my 97th post. That is cool. I guess I'll make it to 100 before the baby comes! I want to write down my feelings about becoming a mother soon, but I want it to be separate from the belly picture posts. So excited for my baby shower this weekend. My mom and friend are both flying out here from CA! I'm so excited! I start my weekly appts this week. I'll probably do a walk thru of the hospital with my friend and mom.

Hurray for a new dress: nothing better than a new dress to help you feel pretty near the end of your pregnancy. You look great, btw. Two items I like to have are warm socks(something about laboring and giving birth makes my feet freeze) and chapstick for lips that get dry. You don't need too much. Lots of women overpack. First thing I can't wait to do after I have a baby is shower, so make sure you have a toiletry bag and make-up. Someone's gonna be taking pictures you will look at the rest of your life. Experience speaking (aka experience comes from making mistakes). Love and miss you.
I would pack slippers and socks, a hair brush and makeup essentials (for feeling good for mommy & new baby photos in the hospital), cleansing towelettes so you can have clean skin, a sweater, sweats/T-shirt, a couple pairs of underpants, camera, and your friend Ashley.
You look radiant Wiff. I am so excited for you. I love the dress!!! I can't believe our boys will be here in less than a month. I can't wait to see you & have play dates :)
Love ya!
