We went and saw a movie and had a yummy lunch for my birthday. It was a good day. It was actually nice outside so we walked around the outdoor mall where the movie was playing. Then we did some grocery shopping and last minute stuff before going home for the evening. The story doesn't get any more exciting from there. We fell asleep watching a movie and missed Midnight and "Happy New Year." We had even bought some rasperry gingerale to "toast" with at midnight. Darn. I don't think that we have ever (while we've been married) stayed up for midnight. Oh well, maybe next year...
But Ben did get me the cutest cake I have ever had!

This cake is from a store called "Nothing Bunt Cakes." All they make is bunt cakes. They have packages where you can have balloons and a cake pedestal, pictures, etc. It is a super cute idea.

Happy Birthday Shakirra!! 2-5, whoo hoo! Glad you had fun, sometimes the low key, relaxing days are the best :) And I LOVE the cake, so cute!
I won tickets to a "Ladies' Night Out" sponsored by a local radio station, & one of the vendors passing out free stuff was "Nothing Bundt Cakes". DE-lish! I think my friend & I went back like 3 times to sample, then I took one home for David. YUMMY!
