Service Projects

Today our ward had a service project at the local county humane society! We were painting fences, and railings, and bathrooms, and barns, and walls, etc. It was a good thing! I haven't gotten to do much service and I feel really good! I feel like my talents were needed there and that I did a great job on the bathrooms that Ben and I painted. I think we should all be more service oriented. I don't get many Saturdays off, but I made the schedule and I have to work on Sunday, so I gave myself two days off in a row. I think I really needed it too!
It is amazing how service will make you grateful for what you have. Ben and I have been working on the house a lot lately. We just did a trellis in our back yard. We'll post pictures when it is done, but it looks AWESOME!! Ben is a great and creative man! I am so excited for when we finish our house! It is going to look amazing and like a brand new house! YAY!!!
